“So what is it you actually do, John?”

I usually just tell people that I’m a Creative Director.
That’s the title that most people understand.

But let’s get specific about the role.
I strategize, write, direct, design, wireframe, storyboard, lead, coach, and mentor. It’s the unicorn creative horsepower required to tell an authentic, inspiring, true-to-the-brand story, from strategy to execution. Oh, and I’m good at this shit. Yes, all of it.
And I have an incredible network of talented peers who help.

But before all of that happens, I sit with the founders, C-Suite, stakeholders, and decision-makers alike. And we dig uncomfortably deep into the brand essence–our reason for being–and flesh out those unique and differentiating share-of-mind value foundations that we’ll build our Brand Story on for years to come.

That’s all I do.
